Most companys have a currency changer, so you can see how much it will cost in your currency.

You usually have to purchase products with a credit card, so they will ask for a credit card number. Make sure they are with Paypal, its a trust way to buy over the internet.

You will have to pay them before recieving the product, even though I know you would be honest and pay, there are some who would not be, so they have to make sure they are not putting their business at risk :)How can i buy cosmetic products/ dresses and other stuff from internet? plz help me.?

  • How to Cut off Xtra weight widout dieting or using cosmetic surgeries or n harmful products?

do kapalbhati pranayam as per baba Ramdev in Aastha channel for 10 minutes dailyHow to Cut off Xtra weight widout dieting or using cosmetic surgeries or n harmful products?
My friend the only way to loose weight successfully and permanently is to workout and eat healthy. well lets put it this way walking for an hour burns no more than 220 calories, where as a kilogram of fat has over 7000 calories. So even if you were to walk for an hour a day it will take you almost 3 months just too loose 1 kg of fat. Also you can not take of fat from a certain body part by working out that part particularly. You need a structured plan / a weight loss solution that is customized according to your body. I am telling you all this from my own personal experience i was a little over 100 kgs , and trust me at that time in desperation i have bought anything and every thing that claims to make you loose weight. Non of them really did what they promised. I then learn t from my own research that then only way to loose fat quickly and permanently is by working out and eat healthy, that when i came across the X - MELT program from X attack its a in home based training program , with tons of fun workouts to do at home itself with out any equipment and also custom made nutrition plans by some hot shot nutritionist. Its highly effective healthy weight loss program. I came down to 78 kgs in 3 months of this program. The best thing i liked about this program is the amount of knowledge their staff has to offer, also how they weren't just interested in having to loose weight but also give my body a great shape for the first time in my life. I as a happy client of theirs will totally recommend this program to anyone looking forward to loosing weight. Here is their URL if you want to have a look at their website for more info. These guys even offer free fitness consultation to everyone, so if you want you can give them a call. They really are good you can judge their knowledge in your very first phone call at least i did. BEst of luck pal

Easiest way to lose weight fast and safely is to cut your calorie intake by eating more on fiber, fruits and vegetables. You'll feel full with fewer calories on them. Fruits, vegetables and fibers are packed with nutrients but less on calories.

I lost 10 pounds in just 2 months using these tips.

Here are Tips to help speed up your metabolism plus help you lose weight without being miserable. they worked for me =)

';Taking the time to relax and savor food increases calorie and fat-burning power by up to 30%';, mainstains Marc David, author of The Slow Down Diet( Healing Arts Press, 2005).

The reason: Savoring stimulates the cephalic phase digestive response, or ';brain phase'; of digestion, which then sets up a slimming chain of events. First, it signals the hypothalamus, the brain's emotion-and-appetite-control center, to trigger the release of the metabolism-reviving thyroid hormone and the pleasure neurochemical cholecystokinin (CCK). In turn, CCK hinders production of the stress hormone cortisol, a known cause of fat accumulation.

    1. Outsmart Snack Attacks for 4 hours and Lose Weight

Savoring Berries can oustmart snack attacks for 4 hours and help you shed 5% of your body weight in 6 months. The credit goes to dozens of blood sugar stabilizing antioxidants. Bluberries are so packed with them, just a half cup daily can boost your blood levels by 100%.

    2. Fill up on Fiber and Lose Weight Fast

Fill up on Fiber - Foods rich in fiber will make you feel satisfied and help curb your appetite, helping you to lose weight fast and safely - so make sure to pack your diet with fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

    3. Boost fat-burning metabolic rate by 50% by sipping coffee

Sipping coffee before a meal can supress appetite by 35%, plus boost fat-burning metabolic rate by 50%, according to extensive research at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. The study-proven dose : 250 mg of caffeine daily, taken either in supplement form or by sipping to cups of coffee or 4 cups of tea.

    4. Lose Weight just by eating Yogurt

Yogurt is a calcium-rich food. Research links calcium with lower cortisol production, and it has been proven that women who increase they're intake lose up to 40% more weight than calcium avoiders.

Plus Yogurt has live microorganisms which helps proper digetion and absorption of nutrients we take. Make sure to get yogurts that says ';with live microorganisms in labels/packages';.

    5. Try this Hunger-Taming Trick

Cut fat and you'll cut cravings. Consuming a high-fat diet may supress your body's natural satiety signals, according to a new study from Pennsylvania State University. Animals who'd been consuming a diet rich in fat ended up eating 40% more of a high-calorie snack than those on average diets. Keep your fat intake to less than 30% of total calories.

    6. Feel full on less food.

Apples are rich in pectin, a soluble fiber that slows the digestive process, so you'll feel full on less food. The result: You'll eat just enough food to make you happy, reducing calorie intake.

    7. Studies suggest people pursuing a healthy weight could lose more weight and burn more fat by including 24 ounces a day of low fat or fat-free milk in their reduced-calorie diet, instead of 8 ounces or less.

    8. Speed fat burn with Cranberries.

The ascorbic acid in cranberries helps thin liver bile, making it easier for the organ to emulsify fat so so it can be quickly flushed out of the system rather than stored in cells.

    9. Boost your protein intake and lose almost a pound a week without hunger.

You can try protein smoothies. Packed with nutrients and low in calories, smoothies are a fast, easy and great tasting way to achieve good health.

You can find a wide collection of healthy fruit smoothies at : http://fruitsmoothierecipe.bravehost.com

By boosting your protein intake from the typical 15% of total calories to 30%, you may be able to cut your daily calorie intake by 440-enough to lose almost a pound a week without hunger, according to a recent University of Washigton study. ';A high-protein diet appears to fool the brain into thinking you've eaten more than you have,'; says the study's lead author, Scott Weigle, M.D., a professor of endocrinology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Stick with lean protein rather than high-fat, artery clogging meat and dairy products. For breakfast, use low-fat milk instead of water in your oatmeal and sprinkle nuts on top. Eat plenty of beans, fish and skinless chicken breast.

    10. To counteract a binge, keep your body's fat-burning furnace running on full blast by drinking Green Tea.

Green Tea contains caffeine and the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) , which is proven to boost metabolic rate. In fact, in a recent 3 month study, participants who took Green Tea extract lost 4.6% of their body weight without changing their diet. To get the benefit, drink at least 3 cups a day.

    Whenever I ate too muc
It is all a question of balance. If you burn more calories than you take in, you will eventually lose weight. Exercise is good, just remember muscles are heavy, so regular light exercise, aerobic exercises and a good healthy diet should do the trick. Have a look into Aloe Vera, a completely natural product....used by the likes of Mahatma Gandhi. Or other tried and tested courses.
The idea of the program is to be able for you to develop a consistent approach to weight loss as well as a healthy endurance when exercising. The program鈥檚 objective is to get rid of the excesses in your body, the excess fat. Not the healthy and lean muscle tissues and body fluids.

The program first requires your focus and dedication, so therefore you need to be prepared in both mind and 鈥?of course 鈥?body. It is highly advised that you first visit your doctor for a check-up before embarking on any weight loss program.

It is important that when starting on any weight loss program, one should be positive enough to work for the results. Some people get impatient easily but long term effects are assured as long as one sticks to the weight loss plan at hand.

Stretch, stretch and stretch some more. Before actually doing those exercises and working out those muscles, a little stretching is needed in order to avoid any injury or soreness in your body.

It is also not advisable for anyone to try too hard. Everything should be done in moderation. Find the level of exercise and training that suits you. It should be enough for you to be comfortable in but not too convenient that it will not be much of a challenge.

    The first week

The first day of the program involves a long and steady walk in a little over twenty minutes. After the walk, follow it up with a good stretch. This takes so little of your time for the first day. In less than an hour you have taken that first step to a weight loss program that could work to your advantage.

By the second day, it is good to focus on an upper body workout. This maintains your strength to be able to go through the whole program for the week. On the third day, a brisk walk or jog for ten minutes is in order. For beginners, a lower body workout should be done in the evening.

In the fourth day, a good rest is in order, as well as a good stretch. This lag time should be used wisely though to sort out any negatives in your mindset. The fifth day starts with a good ten minute walk. Exercise the lower body in four sessions of workouts, follow this up with another ten minute walk, and another four sessions of lower body workout.

The sixth day should be spent on a low impact exercise such as swimming. To avoid boredom, do not be afraid to try something new. The last day of the week is a time to solicit the support of the people you care about. Spend time with them or get them to be with you in your long walk. Again, follow up your walk with a light upper body workout.

This is just the beginning though. If by this first week you are able to stick to the program, you have a great chance to further boost your weight loss and stay with the plan until you achieve your desired result. Try as much as possible to be unlike the people who give up easily just because they could not see the result they want at the time they want 鈥?like this moment, today, now! Patience is a virtue. The same way it took your body time to gain all that weight, think about it as the time your body will have to exert just to get rid of it.
You do some free hand excercise regularly for at least one hour a day.You can take a morning walk/run for sometimes. You can ever do yoga by watching tv or in some institute.Or you can go to a gym.

Within a month you'll lose some weight according to the pattern of your excercise. It will be a bit slow at first but gradually you'll feel good.
Plan your meals. if you do this you are more likely not to stray onto junk food. Peppermint tea is really good for the stomach-stops you feeling so bloated!

Also drink about two litres of water a day...its good for you and it makes you feel less hungry.

    Be sensible, dont starve yourself.
To reduce ur weight, do excercise. U can do yoga, aerobics n skipping, etc. Avoid eating junk and oily foods and chocolates.

In the morning on a plain stomach just take one spoon of honey and 2 or 3 drops of lime with 1/4th cup warm water. And doing excercise with this will help a lot.
I SUGGEST TAKING A HEALTHY SUPPLEMENT TO AT LEAST CURVE YOUR APPETITE. TAKE B12 (B-COMPLEX) AND CAFFEINE WHICH CAN CURVE YOUR CRAVINGS TO EAT BIG TIME. BOTH THESE ITEMS WILL NOT HURT YOU (ITS WHAT YOU FIND IN ALOT OF DIET PILLS AND ENERGY DRINKS.) OVERALL A HEALTHY DIET AND EXERCISE IS THE WAY TO GO,BUT IF YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN'T TRY THESE ITEMS. THEY CAN BE PURCHASED FROM WALMART (B-COMPLEX AND CAFFEINE PILLS) REALLY CHEAP.
Don't worry if you want to cut off Xtra weight without doing anything then you have to drink one glass of boiled water after taking meal.

    Do it%26amp; feel it.
    Exercise
Exercise and eat healthier (but not less) food.
hey do workouts. eat less at night. eat papaya daily .
    go running

    and do situps

    Hi

I too have been searching for the same and was told

Australias is animal free, as is Arbre.

But I got on to google: products free from animal testing

and there is lots of sites,.

It makes me feel sick to think of the cruelty the animals have to go through, just for products for people.

    Good luck in your search.

    Minny
You could always visit http://www.bionaturaldrops.com who has 100% no animal tested products. You will probably find what you need there since most of the products are made in Switzerland which are very sensitive on this matter.
Harnn %26amp; Thann are a new line of natural skin care from Asia that is paraben free and not tested on animals nor do they employ child labor!

Some cosmetic companies make lotion and other products the feed the skin and prevent aging?

Some cosmetic companies make lotion and other products the feed the skin and prevent aging. From what you know about the structure of the skin. Do you think such claims are truthful? Some cosmetic companies make lotion and other products the feed the skin and prevent aging?
No most of them don't work. I have read several newspaper articles where they interview scientists.

The only product that is guaranteed to prevent ageing and make a big difference is sunscreen because UV causes ageing and sunscreen blocks it.

A moisteriser does a little bit because it keeps your skin hydrated and it is important to use mousteriser (at night - sunscreen in the day) but most moisterisers are the same. Some cosmetic companies make lotion and other products the feed the skin and prevent aging?
    Yes.Try Oriflame,you'll believe it too.
I hate aging. I heard skin begins to age and lose its elastic at age 25. (for some people it may begin before or after that age) To me there's no sense of using of anti aging products for the skin- because I'd like to be replenished inside of my body- not just in the outside. It's terrible to look 20 in the outside (from botox or anti aging products) while in the inside you're body is really 50 and deteoriating! I would like to be 20 years old forever- both inside and out.

Why is it illegal for cosmetic-related products to claim they ';make the nail grow faster';?

It's illegal to claim that because it's impossible. Nothing can make nails (or hair) grow faster. It's called false advertising. But there are still companies that try to imply that if you buy their product, they will grow.

What the products can do is help keep your nails (or hair) stronger and healthier so that it doesn't break as easily. So using a good strengthening polish can help keep your nails in good condition so that they CAN grow, but it won't actually MAKE them grow. Why is it illegal for cosmetic-related products to claim they ';make the nail grow faster';?
I never heard that it was Illeagl because alot of nail polishes claim to make them grow faster such as Sally Hansen. Why is it illegal for cosmetic-related products to claim they ';make the nail grow faster';?
    no. alot do it
Technically it is illegal since it is impossible for the products to actually help grow nails. Many older make-up books talk about this being false advertising and the various laws related to sales of these types of products. But it is not upheld in any way.

What do animal-friendly cosmetic companies test their products on?

There are a lot of animal friendly cosmetic companies around, like Urban Decay and Burt's Bees, and they say they don't test their products on animals...but what DO they test it on? Anyone know? What do animal-friendly cosmetic companies test their products on?
Well, There are several ways they test their products.

    1. If a company knows that all it's ingredients are all natural, they sometimes test on (willing) humans :P

    2. There are many fruits and veggies which are genetically closer to human cells that a lot of animals. Things like melon rind is used as a stand in for skin and jack beans better emulate the human cornea.

Alternatives are not only cruelty free, but much cheaper as well.

Hope I helped! What do animal-friendly cosmetic companies test their products on?
Cruelty-free'; labels on products are a fairly good indication that that particular product was not tested on a laboratory animal. Even though the rules and guidelines governing which items can sport a ';cruelty-free'; sticker are fairly lax and unreliable, most companies know that the consumer backlash would be terrific if they lied about their animal testing policies.

However, just because one product bears a label stating that it was not tested on animals, this does not mean that other items in that company鈥檚 range weren鈥檛 used in experiments on animals. For example, Clairol do not test their Herbal Essences range on animals, but the rest of their cosmetic line is still researched in this way.

    Top Animal Loving Beauty Companies

A select group of cosmetic companies have become world renowned for their ';animal friendly'; products and the stance that they take against testing beauty products on animals. Some of the most popular are listed below.

    The Body Shop

One of the five values that The Body Shop was founded on is ';against animal testing.'; The other four, for interest's sake, are ';support community trade';, ';activate self-esteem';, ';defend human rights';, and ';protect our planet';. Since 1990, the company has not used a single ingredient that was tested on animals. They also actively campaign against testing cosmetics on animals and embrace the use of alternative tests.

    Urban Decay

    Popular make-up company Urban Decay has always been strongly opposed to animal testing. This company also won an award from PETA recently for ';best cruelty-free cosmetic line.';

    Lush

Lush is well known for using fresh, natural ingredients in all of their products. According to their website, they also believe in only buying their supplies from ';companies that test for safety without the involvement of animals.'; Lush tests all of its own products on humans, rather than animals.

Although animal rights organisations continue to work hard for their cause, media and public attention is not currently focused on animal testing. One may hope that, as more people become concerned with what goes into their products and how they are made, they will become aware of the still-too-common testing of beauty products on animals and will decide not to purchase from those companies. Follow these links to read more about animal friendly products and cruelty free corporations.

  • Why do I as a black women have to shop elsewhere, for my hair & cosmetic products in multicultural London?

I saw all kinds of stuff at Boots though. Right? I thought I saw things everywhere. Anywayz. Why do I as a black women have to shop elsewhere, for my hair %26amp; cosmetic products in multicultural London?
I'm not sure where you've been looking.

Selfridges, Debenhams etc all have the Iman and Mac range of cosmetics that cater for dark skin tones. Iman is a black woman catering for black women so I recommend you have a look at her range of products.

As for hair, when it comes hair products, they are definitely available, you just need to know what you're looking for. A lot of products these days are now addressing Afro-carribean hair. It will take a while to read the labels to find the right product for the effect you want, but they are there. Boots superstores tend to have a good range.

As for braiding, only a place that specialises in braiding will ever do a decent job. It just so happens that braiding salons are run by black people - because they know how to do it better than anyone else.

In my opinion going to a specialist store for your hair and cosmetic needs, away from the main high street stores is better. They are cheaper and you get better expertise. Mainstream purhasing only makes you spend more - and the Iman range is NOT cheap! Why do I as a black women have to shop elsewhere, for my hair %26amp; cosmetic products in multicultural London?
you can shop at super drugs, i was amazed the othe day when i found dark and lovely in there, but other wise in london there is a range of shops that specialise in afro-hair products, i''ve got a choice of 3 shops in leicester, when i live in loughborugh there was none. its wrong and what about the food products u can find asian, italian, mexican and spanish etc etc, but afro-carribean wheres that???????????? it's not just london its the whole of england !!!

And its not just due to the amount of poeple that live in the area leicester has a very large afro-carribean community but there is a lack of the product you can find here!
Hey!!! I agree with you, i am mixed race and i cannot find make up that caters for my skin tone to be honest i dont wear make up at all, simply because of the fact i cannot find any thing for my skin.

It is ridiculous, there are so many cosmetics for caucasian women, and a limited choice for us dark skinned beauties, even when i open up any fashion magazine, there are the Loreal, and Maybelline foundation sachets for caucasian skin, i am not being funny or anything, but the world is full of different cultures and skin tones, so why the hell arent there any make up sachets for dark skin it isnt on!!

I can walk into superdrug, boots, and other hair and beauty stores, and you will get a shelf full of blonde products, such as John Frieda and Toni and Guy, and there are never any products for Afro Hair, and i have to go to Birmingham to purchase such products it is unbelievable!

I walked into Toni and Guy and asked if they style Afro Hair, they look bewildered, the person i spoke to asked assistant if they can style my hair, what do i get? a no, we dont!! thats unacceptable, if you are a fully trained, and qualified hair dresser, you should be able to style any type of hair!

I know where you are coming from and it isnt on, it is frustrating that in 2006, there is such a limited range of beauty products for dark skinned women in the mainstream market, and seeing as we are a multicultural society, these beauty companies need to up their game and give US a wider choice!!!

Its not like we are looking for the sympathy vote here, we are being excluded from the mainstream cosmetic and hair industry, what is going on?
my sister gets her kids hair and beauty things from the pound shops and also superdrugs
Gee, sounds like a marketing opportunity. Is this something you or one or more of your friends might be interested in looking into? A little shoppe someplace with the best of black hair care and cosmetics from around the world?
because u choose to. you can go to boots and superdrugs to buy hair and cosmetic products. I go to hair salons to buy my hair products eg: ghd, paul mitchell, kerastase.

just because you are black does not mean that you have to trek around london to buy beauty and hair products. but you do so because you want to I have great hair and skin and dont black only products.
Are you saying there is nowhere in London where you can buy hair products and cosmetics ? Selfridges, Oxford Street have the largest Cosmetic Hall in Europe, and brands like Mac - which are very popular with black women - have displays the size of a normal shop. I was there 2 months ago, and it happened that most assistants on the Mac counter were black. The ranges of most international cosmetics companies have shades for every human hue - why ? Because they are businesses, they want to sell to you, they want your money. For more esoteric products, the Stroud Green Road, Brixton and loads of other inner London suburbs have heaps of African and Asian hair products and cosmetics.

Racism exists and must be resisted where we find it. But don't go looking for it.
OMGOOODNESS.. i was asking this saaamme question the other day...its jus not fair, but hey its starting to change, i mean tesco now sell dark and lovely relaxer...thats an improvement right, but then again black people are seen as the underdogs (and i aint tryna start a debate) so why would anyone want to accomodate us...?
Good question ya know that they are classifying it as coarse textured hair instead of African American hair instead now days, so you should be able to find it anywhere hair products are sold.
    You are having a laugh...right?

There are shops all over the place in London that deal entirely in afro-Caribbean hair products. Most of the hairdressers outside the one mile radius of central London are now occupied by Afro-Caribbean hairdressers.

Boots, super-drugs %26amp; even many smaller establishments cater for Afro-Caribbean hair also. I reckon you must be walking around with your eyes closed Babe.
    Same reason white women do.
Because black women do not need makeup and there hair is already curly so why would you need to do your hair in my opinion i think black women are lucky they are all ready dark so they do not need makeup and their hair is perfect. What more do you want?
    Try boots!
What do you mean by elswhere?

In Harrow there are heaps of places you can get the stuff. Because the make up (pun?) of the community allows for it.

    It's a marketing thing.

If you as a black person need the product and there is demand it will be met. If not it won't. Same applies worldwide methinks.
racist racist, what a bunch of sad people, blame everything on racism.Since there less black people they wouldn't have shops that sell black products, they wouldn get sales. Do u think ur so special that they must now make and sell product ESPECIALLY for a minority of people shame poor you, i really do feel sorry for u. getover your blackness! omg!

Yeah i read the answers above and, yeah if u so upset about not having african shops then open a SHOP YOURSELF! like the HARD WORKING asians, mexicans ect

How do i make my skin lighter without using any cosmetic products?

When I was a teenager I bleached my freckles with lemon juice. Itches, but works.
Stay out of the sun. Any tan you have will fade.
    Avoid the sun.
There is no truly safe way. Usually people who are desperate use skin bleach. I highly do not reccomend this method.
try selson blue (yes the shampoo) but use it as a body wash and leave it on for about 5 minutes everyday it will lighten your skin.

i have a 4 year old son and he use to have brown spots on him i used the selson blue on them and they faded you can barely see them now
Do the Michal Jackson!!! (just...dont rape people, thats not nice.)
follow a dermatologist's advice! gud luck!
    stay out of the sun?
    I've heard lemon juice works.
Stay out of the sun, or when you do go into the sun wear a hat

WELL, IT WORKED FOR MICHAEL JACKSON!
Build a time machine, tell your father to make a baby with a lighter skinned woman - and then keep your fingers crossed.

Why branded cosmetic products have more importance in customer's mind then non-branded products?

plz what i make a literature review on this topic, ';why branded cosmetic products have more importance in customer's mind then non-branded products';. plz help me out, to solve my problem.... urgentlyWhy branded cosmetic products have more importance in customer's mind then non-branded products?
    Consumers trust branded products.

Brands were originally developed as labels of ownership: name, term, design, symbol. However, today it is what they do for people that matters much more, how they reflect and engage them, how they define their aspiration and enable them to do more. Powerful brands can drive success in competitive and financial markets, and indeed become the organization鈥檚 most valuable assets.

Marketers engaged in branding seek to develop or align the expectations behind the brand experience, creating the impression that a brand associated with a product or service has certain qualities or characteristics that make it special or unique. A brand image may be developed by attributing a ';personality'; to or associating an ';image'; with a product or service, whereby the personality or image is ';branded'; into the consciousness of consumers. A brand is therefore one of the most valuable elements in an advertising theme. The art of creating and maintaining a brand is called brand management. wikpedWhy branded cosmetic products have more importance in customer's mind then non-branded products?
Brand is a shortcut in the buyers mind. For example, Mrs. Smith is browsing the allays of the store and she is looking for a shampoo - she passes by the rack with shampoos and alongside the many names there are one, two or three that stuck out. Mrs. Smith already has heard about those brands and she has some association between the name and the qualities of that brand. Instead of reading the labels and description of each product she just grabs the one that has most positive value in her mind. She ends up buying the FamousBrand product... unless she is price conscious consumer or doesn't care and her first and most important criteria is price - then she buys the cheapest one as she thinks all are the same. The truth is that brand products are priced higher compared to non-brand. When it comes to cosmetics, where it is tough to evaluate the actually quality of a product brand is even more important. How for example is possible to evaluate the wrinkle smoothing effect of a particular creme?! - almost impossible - and the buyer ends up buying the product that s/he believes can do this. The keyword is 'believe' - and that's what brand is all about.

Has anyone ever heard of Arbonne Cosmetic Products? If so have you tried them?

How do they differ from others such as Avon, Marykay, and Baressentials?Has anyone ever heard of Arbonne Cosmetic Products? If so have you tried them?
Arbonne cosmetics are made with all natural ingredients. I use nothing other than Arbonne cosmetics, not only because I am a rep but the cosmetics feel free and light weight.I started using them first to get the discount and now there are others I have introduced this to that love this also. Mary kay is a good one but I have had many clients that change over because these products last and stay on.Has anyone ever heard of Arbonne Cosmetic Products? If so have you tried them?
I was under the impression that Arbonne products were NOT ALL natural. They are naturally and bitanically based, right??? Report Abuse

i LOVE arbonne, it is So0o0o0o0o0 nice, and all natrual, great products that make you look beautiful, its not only cosmetics, its skincare, great mens products, health (vitamens, ect.) and its great!! look at http://arbonne.com or find a representitive in your town, i promise...they are great!!
I will never use Arbonne Cosmetics. This company is one of the most unethical in the business, in my experience.
Arbonne products are botanically based, scientifically advanced (not all natural) products formulated in Switzerland and made in the USA. They are pH correct, contain no animal products or byproducts, are never tested on animals, contain no mineral oil, and have no chemical dyes or fragrances (unless clearly noted on some of the aromatherapy products). Compared to other department store brands, they are very affordable. Plus there is a 45-day money back guaranty, no questions asked. Check their ingredient lists compared to other brands. Arbonne has far superior ingredients! (And, again, no petroleum based products such as mineral oil which is really bad for your skin.)

Someone above mentioned that they are unethical. As with any home-based business product, some representatives may not necessarily be ethical, and although they represent the company, it doesn't mean the company is unethical. No company, whether it's a home-based business, a department store, government, or a corporate environment, employs people who are 100% ethical 100% of the time. Just watch the evening news. Arbonne has a strict set of ethical guidelines which consultants agree to abide by when they become a consultant. Unfortunately, there is no ';Arbonne police'; to monitor and get rid of those who are unethical.

Having said that, I had used Estee Lauder and other expensive department store brands for many, many years without the results I've gotten with Arbonne. Check it out at GreatSkinGreatLife.myarbonne.com
I am an independent consultant for arbonne. I have been using and selling arbonne and this product is by far one of the best skin care products out there. Avon and Marykay are Not all natural they have so many filleres that can clog and damage your skin! Arbonne is 100% all natural and has NO filler or harmfull alchol in there product. Arbonne also has no fragrance in there product unless it is a holiday product witch ';fragrance'; will clearly be stated on the front of the bottle. If you are intrested in buying or even becoming a consultant please e-mail me at ';haven_e@hotmail.com'; one of the great things about being a consultant is that unlike Anon and Marykay you dont have to buy your own inventory you just tell people about it and sell the product. You can also learn more at ';www.arbonne.com'; if you have any more questions i would love to talk with you just e-mail me at the address above.

    -Christie Van Court
My sister used to be an Arbonne rep. I do not think their products are tested on animals and they do not contain animal products in them. Arbonne is supposed to be good for people with very sensitive skin, but like most cosmetics, they can be very expensive.
I use Arbonne's About Face Color. I have the color wand and mineral powder for foundation, eye shadows, blushers, eye pencils, lip gloss, prep n' plump, and mascara. I love them all. I'm not too fond on the eye brow wax however.

All of Arbonne's cosmetics are pure, safe, beneficial, and made without animal products/bi products or wax, dyes, chemicals, etc. They're made with extremely high European standards and are long lasting. You can also save 35%-75% off all of Arbonne's products, order them online, and have them shipped directly to your door.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity.

    * PARABENS – Such as methyl- propyl- butyl- %26amp; ethyl- parabens: Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid – Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.

    * Acrylamide – Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) – Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * WAXES – Such as Paraffin, Candelilla Wax, Carnuba Wax: Waxes are widely used in cleansing creams, eye creams, and moisturizers. Waxes clog pores, creating blackheads and whiteheads. They also smother the skin, which over time creates an enlarged pore problem.

    * Lanolin – A yellow, semi-solid, fatty secretion from sheep’s wool is widely used in skin and beauty care products. It can cause an allergic reaction in some people, as well as enlarged pores.

    * Acetone – Used in nail polish and nail polish removers, this colorless, volatile liquid is often used in astringents, fresheners, or clarifying lotions. It is extremely toxic and will dehydrate the skin, while speeding up the aging process.

    * ALCOHOLS – Such as Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40, Ethyl Alcohol: Alcohols dissolve the body’s natural moisturizers and strip the skin of its protection, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Alcohols destroy skin’s pH balance, and since they absorb water, they speed up wrinkling.

    * FD%26amp;C – When this abbreviation precedes the name of a color, it means that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has certified it as safe for use in drugs and cosmetics, but not food. D%26amp;C colors are usually synthetic, coal tar colors. They’re toxic and should be avoided when at all possible.

    * Dioxane – Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!! (Extra-virgin olive and/or coconut oils are great alternative moisturizers, and they contain natural sunscreens, until you find something else without these toxins) Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!!!How can i have a beautiful skin without using of cosmetic products?
Heredity plays a big role in your skins appearance. Diet and stress play a big role in your skins appearance, too. Cosmetic products, if you can call them that, such as cleansers, toners (astrigents or non astringent), and oil-free to highly moisturizing products help you to maintain a clean and healty complexion.

It's your choice whether or not you want to use ';cosmetics'; such as: face powders or make-up, blusher, eye make-up, lipstick and gloss. These can be used to enhance what you already have.

Good Luck. How can i have a beautiful skin without using of cosmetic products?
wash your face with a honey and brown suger scrub you can make your self.

it is a great exfoliator, and leaves your skin soft and sweet.
just scrub lemon on ur skin and let it dry

lemon contains weak acid and helps remove dead skin cell

after dat, apply some honey and let it settle 4 a while and wash ur body with luke warm water
stop using them and find something natural that works for your skin. i use a natural bar soap to wash my face and i have great skin. and castor oil works great on a lot of ppl.
Make yourself a cucumber mask in fine slices; relax while the impurity will be taken away and your skin will be glowing of cleanliness and softness.

If you mean things like nose-hair trimmers, men's girdles, perfume, and snake-oil in general you are going to have to go back past the Victorian era.

If you mean cosmetics you have to go back past the Egyptian dynasties.

If you mean for ceremonial purposes you have to go back past the dawn of man.

Best brands of cosmetic products for brides? - wedding?

    Hello there,

I am getting married and will be doing my own make-up. Unfortunately the products I use on a daily basis is not high quality. Will you kindly tell me the BEST BRAND of cosmetics for the following:

    - foundation

    - waterproof mascara (thickening)

    - pressed powder

    - shimmer powder

    - bronzer

    - false eyelashes

I have dark eyes/hair and olive skin tone.

Thank you!Best brands of cosmetic products for brides? - wedding?
Bare Minerals is the best thing out there! The foundation blends flawlessly and for your wedding day, I think natural is best! B.M. can give you that! And you don't have to worry about re-applying for your whole day! They also have excellent ';bronzers'; and eye colors! Bonus: its GREAT for your skin!Best brands of cosmetic products for brides? - wedding?
The makeup I used for my wedding was Clinque because I love that brand. I have been using it since I started using makeup because it doesn't cause me to break out and the eye shadow stayed in place all day, no creasing! My best friend used Mary Kay for her wedding. The woman she bought the makeup from did a free wedding consultation, helped pick out the shades, and even showed her how to apply it. Whatever you go with, I would purchase a better brand and have someone show you how to do it to. It helps a lot when they sit you down and show you the best way to apply!
Mary Kay or Merle Norman, and the sales people can give you application tips at no cost to you as long as you buy their product. Congrats on your upcoming marriage, I wish you the best.
Yasmine, may I recommend taking meticulous care of your skin first? With that said, my recommendation is aularale.com/7002 for everything except lashes and mascara. I do not recommend a pressed powder at all; instead choose a loose translucent powder - it is oil free and allows your skin to breathe. I like human hair lashes by Bliss or Ardell (you'll have to decide by choosing a style(s) you think you like and experiment to get the perfect ones for you). And finally, it you choose not to wear lashes, Maybelline water proof mascara.
    Hi there

I would like to know what your skin type is though so I will know whether you need to go mattier if your skin is oily. But assuming that you will be under harsh video lights on your wonderful day, I will recommend MAC Cosmetics for almost everything that you have mentioned above

    www.maccosmetics.com

They are absolutely the best. You can also find a store near you, and get private consultations from their make-up artists.

You can use Bare Minerals for a more casual day and lighter coverage. Stick to MAC for some serious makeup.

    Have fun!
go to your ';NARS'; counter at your department store, this is the one I used when I renewed my vows last year, I never needed to do a touch up, and a lot of people asked who did my make up. I just went to the NARS counter and asked for a make over, and all they needed was a minimum purchase of 2 items! the 2 items cost me only 65.00. The brand is a little bit pricey but the make up's quality is the best, it stays on forever, i love their blushes, theyre the best.
i HIGHLY suggest Bare Minerals, its a powder foundation... it's the greatest make up ever made. i will never ever use anything else. it goes on silky smooth and makes your skin flawless. it actually looks like my skin is airbrushed when i put it on. i also suggest buying a blush from them too, it goes on even and staus on ALL day.

you can purchase it at Sephora.com

or go to their site - www.bareescentuals.com

MASCARA - i love CoverGirl Lash Blast (it comes in waterproof) it doesnt go on chunky and it gives lots of volume and lasts all day

You will not need pressed powder or shimmery powder if you purchase the BareMinerals foundation.. TRUST ME.

Bare Escentuals also sells bronzers that go on very even and look natural.

Sorry im not sure about the false eyelashes.

    Hope this helps!

    :)
Clinique make up is the best and its high quality its kind of expensive but defenetly worth it. It has no scent and will not cause any allergic reactions like redening of the skin. If you go to their website it even shoes what kind of powder foundation and etc will match ur skin best. You can even find out what type skin you have like II or IV etc. I use their make up and its been my favorite out of the brands ive ever tried. My mom even uses it and shes a business woman going to meetings all the time.

Good Luck with your wedding~! Hope you have a nice Honey Moon~!
Mary Kay cosmetics are the best.
Mascara: I love Maybelline Lash Stylist because it adds volume and length!

Eyelashes: I live in Canada and usually buy Quo false lashes, they have so many styles to choose from. I would recommend going for a look like Eva Longoria's lashes!

Foundation: I use Bare Minerals but for the wedding you might want to go a bit heavier because you will be photographed all day!
    Foundation

    pressed powder

    shimmer powder

all the above - MAC or Bobbi Brown

    bronzer - Bobbi Brown

    false eyelashes - MAC

waterproof mascara - I use Maybelline Great Lash. If you want to splurge - try MAC

    Bobbi Brown has a bride's kit - take a look a that.
Go to Bee-Luscious. They have special makeup just for brides.

    It's cheaper.

    These products function as preservatives.

They have not found a ';natural'; solution that works just as reliably (ie. natural anti preservatives).

I can see both sides of the coin. On the one hand, there are conflicting studies and some studies say that ingredient X causes cancer and some studies say that it does not. There's so much conflicting information that companies are not going to change their formulas and spend all of this new money to research alternatives when there's no real substantial proof that what they're using now causes cancer. And a lot of times, that ';natural'; stuff is just not as effective. I have used every natural deodorant on the planet and they don't work as well as regular products. I have tried every natural diet pill on the planet and none work. The only thing that has worked for me as prescription phentermine.

On the other hand, I don't want to use products that cause cancer if that is indeed the case.

But the way I look at it, our ancestors didn't use these ';Harmful'; products because these products had not yet been invented. Yet, they died at ages far earlier than humans do now. If you're looking for the fountain of health and youth, maybe you are barking up the wrong tree.
Because everything is carcinogenic these days.

What are the known brand names of cosmetic products which are made in CANADA?

actually, i'm a guy and don't need them for me...What are the known brand names of cosmetic products which are made in CANADA?
NOPOLIAN PERDIS, the best of the best

What GOSH cosmetic products do you use?

I love gosh and am thinking of expanding! what products do you like or dislike? What GOSH cosmetic products do you use?
I use their waterproof eyeshadow as a base. :)What GOSH cosmetic products do you use?
For ages I was looking for great colourful pencil eyeliners....

Rimmel only has blue, black, brown, dark green....:(

    BUT THEN I FOUND GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best EVER- I have pink, blue green, purple and lemon grass!

That is like 拢20 worth- but it lasts you ages!

Also I have a couple of thier eye shadow duos.
I use the liquid foundation (its quite thick so really good for full coverage and a smooth finish) the liquid eyeliner and pencil eyeliner, its great makeup and really good prices too. love it!
    their foundation primer is great.

    liquid eyeliners are also good.

    their brushes are great.

glitter shadows can be applied wet to make them more dramatic.

    have fun shopping:-)
    Their mascara is awesome!

And their waterproof eyeshadow is really nice too :)
    None.
oh my gosh!!! hahaa i made a funny oxymoron!

Buying cosmetic products from websites besides the company's: reliable ?

I've been wanting to buy murad products, and after shipping%26amp;the cost of products, it seems MUCH cheaper to buy the stuff at different sites other than the company's site.

    is it reliable ?

will the products be knockoffs or be tampered with ?

what's the catch ?Buying cosmetic products from websites besides the company's: reliable ?
its probably stale ... the nail polish has probably separated .... the powder has probably broken up ... its probably old ... returned ... idk ... then again it might be good ....

Are there any cosmetic products that are as good as The Lift Petite?

';The Lift Petite'; is a natural product I would definetly give it a try.

';The Lift Petite'; has several great reviews that I have found.

I have used the AHA products and have been pleased.

What is the open cylinder logo/marking at the back of cosmetic products?

Like in hand creams, where at the back, you have an open cylinder, with a number inside it, like ';12M';. What is this symbol for. Its usually found next to the quantity (like 50 ml). What is the open cylinder logo/marking at the back of cosmetic products?
i'd take a guess at, use within 12months of opening.

i say this because cosmetic products have proservatives and they don't tend to last very long, so once they go you are putting bad bacteria on to yourself. What is the open cylinder logo/marking at the back of cosmetic products?
its the best before date after the product has been opened.

This is because everytime it is opened bacteria gets into it and eventually this stops the product from doing what it says it does. It wont harm you to use products after this date but they just wont be as effective
Hi this tells you how may months it will stay fresh for, So as soon as you open it it will be ok to use for as many months as it says on the symbol with the pot open. A few years ago they didnt have best before dates on. But after a while you find the creams or whatever go a different colour or smell different this is because they have gone of.So they but these on so you know.
It is telling you the expiry date for example if it has a 12 in it. you ust use it within 12 months of opening.

Like the use by date on food really.

  • With all the cosmetic products outthere, what do i use for an aging face & dark lines under my eyes ?

im 30 now and dont like the way my face is aging.

in the supermarket, there are just to many products to know what to choose..

could you name specific brands and when and how to use them ?

    what order etc ?

what to buy etc ? what to use and when and in what order ?

please be SPECIFIC and thorough in your explaination .

thanks. With all the cosmetic products outthere, what do i use for an aging face %26amp; dark lines under my eyes ?
After a great deal of research and experimentation I found only one treatment that is a truly effective, safe one for wrinkles and deep lines and for renewing vitality to skin and that can truly rejuvenate face. And all for a modest cost. It's using only NATURAL products and it's quick acting. It does not just fade lines and wrinkles a little, it greatly minimizes them and can prevent new ones forming. It's a special treatment and safe massage technique using natural oils which I have given very detailed info about in my many Best Answers(wrinkles, lines, ant aging, rejuvenation, etc.) It has received glowing reports from users. If you research my answers you will find. If you cannot, I will gladly email you the full instructions.

If you do suitable Google searches'; Do anti aging products work?'; ';Anti aging creams, lotions a scam?'; etc.

You will find many are scams and many others simply fail to do what is claimed.and some even contain skin harming, skin aging and even health harming ingredients. I can be emailed

hi im emma im a virgin vie skin care consultant

here is what i would recomend...

for those dark lines use round the clock 24hour eye care (product num 15020-00) the wide awake gel (in the morning) contains a botanical complex to help reduce dark circles and keeps the eye area hydrated and then the beauty sleep cream (bed time) is a blends of natural moisturisers and vitamins to reduce fine lines .

both are easy to use just dab a tiny amount under the eye and rub gentiley in.

as for the face a good skin routine is key cleanse, tone and moistureis daily (i find its best done before bed so you remove all make-up)

without knowing what skin type you have this is more difficult but there is a guide on the website to help you find the right creams for you just click on the link below

    hope this was helpful
Face masks and cucumbers every night is my answer. I do a face mask every week or so and cucumbers for two or three days then leave it til the next week. Just a couple of nights a week when you are really really knackered can help disguise a hard night out...
Fish oil, will help if you continue to use if regularly, as it will also help your BPD...and drink lots and lots of water...stop staying up late also,...it will age you faster than anything, and so will an old attitutude..

Is there rules about importing cosmetic products?

Is there some form of law preventing the export of completly natural (cosmetic) products from australia? Is there rules about importing cosmetic products?
I think the rules you have to contend with are from the importing country, like you have to list all the ingredients on the label, since some people are allergic to certain ingredients. The agent importing it from you would ask you for that. In addition, it's his duty to send a sample to the equivalent of that country's Health Sciences Authority to test the product for poisonous material. Other than that, I don't think they test much more, since it's listed as a cosmetic product and not a drug. They don't test for efficacy, i.e. if your product is supposed to reduce wrinkles, no-one tests to see if it really does that.

L'occitane cosmetic products, are they worth the price?

I'm looking for a handcream in particular, 'cos my hands get chapped to bruises in the winter. All products have failed so far in curing/preventing this. Being a guy, I hardly know anything about cosmetics, do you think it is any better than the cheaper ones?L'occitane cosmetic products, are they worth the price?
get merle normanL'occitane cosmetic products, are they worth the price?
Well if they work for you then I would say that they are worth the money!! Also try Clarins hand cream thats really good too!
Yeah, I think it's worth the price. I have a hand cream by L'Occitane that cost $25. It's a dry skin hand cream with shea butter, and it lasts a long while because you don't take that much per use. It's not like the cheap stuff where it's very runny and thin, and doesn't absorb well.

Basically, some beauty products are overpriced due to reputation or brand name, but overall, the ones that are more expensive are so because they have higher quality ingredients. I have really dry skin and the pharmacy stuff doesn't do it for me, especially in the winter.

or set up a full scale mini-company to market them, depending on how much stock you have. If it's not much, you could conceivably sell the whole stock off of one newspaper or radio ad.

Beard and mustache wax may help. You can find it at the beauty supply store. It won't make them grow but it might give the appearance that they are thicker.

Why do people go to bodyshop to buy cosmetic products ?

Bodyshop retail shops have cosmetic products which are singificantly higher priced than its competitiors still its valued very highely in the minds of consumers. Why is it so. why do you go to bodyshop rather than a L'oreal ?Why do people go to bodyshop to buy cosmetic products ?
Assuming it's the same company that we have in Australia, because they promote themselves as environmentally and socially conscious. Much better than Loreal, which is all about the chemicals and making money. Why do people go to bodyshop to buy cosmetic products ?
yes i definitely would prefer it to L'oreal or any other brands like that... i find the bodyshop products way better than anything else ive tried, theyre way better quality!
because unlike many commercial makeup brands, the body shop does not test its products on animals- this very act being a highly protested in many areas. it also promotes civic and environmental consciousness and donates to various charities all over the world.

My best friend is dark skinned, and she raves about MAC make-up. I do too! it gives great coverage as far as foundations go, the liner, mascara and shadow works like you got your make-up professionally done. The best part is that it is not all that expensive. Its about 12 dollars for a compact that last for a long time. I'm not sure if there is a MAC store near you, but there is usually a MAC counter at department stores, and they also have a way to order on line. Hope I helped....Good luck!!!! ( :
I use Maybeline i love all there make up they all blend in so perfectly their dream mousse matte products feel like you have nothing on and they look very natural on your skin. If not Black Opal is another line but personally i do not like their colors.
    mac
If you have a dark skin stick to warm, earthy colors. Gold, bronze and maroon are in fact best for dusky skins. Cooler colors like mauve, pink and silver look better on fairer skins.

Choose lipsticks with matte finish rather than frosted ones. The shades should not be too dark or too light. Medium dull shades would look best. Bright pinks or reds are an absolutely NO! If you have dark lips, before applying lipstick, put some foundation and powder on your lips.

Your blusher too should not be pinkish. Peachish blushers work best on dusky complexion. A gold eyeshadow would be complimentary where as a silver one may not look good.

    Hi hun,

I'm a makeup artist and I used to work with MAC.

Hmm, very hard question to answer! ;o)

Well, it depends on what kind of products you are looking for.

But in any case, my favorite products from MAC are the MSF - Mineralized Satin Finish liquid foundation. This is a great buy, and leaves your skin looking radiant and glowing.

Another favorite are MAC blushes, especially the DUOs.

My favorite is Hot Planet. You can use the lighter part for highlighting the cheeks, nose, and eyebrows!

Another one is Studio Sculpt concealer. It's great because you only need a little bit of it to cover any blemishes or undereye circles. This stuff will last for a long time, cause it's so much product in one package!

My favorite lipstick is Cherish. It's a really beautiful color. It's a nude pink, very very subtle nude color. Great for the summer.

Hope this was helpful! Good Luck hun! What would you choose as your favourite MAC cosmetic products?
