I had a similar reaction to simple baby oil. I think the heaviness of the old blocked every pore of my skin. I would suggest a lighter body lotion or something that is more water based than oil based.
Oh yeahhhh, Im sure thats it.
Get yourself a good exfoliater! And use it with a loofa sponge or something similar. Neutrogena makes a good one, as well as many others. I would go with a Neutrogena exfoliater face wash and that should do the trick. Just make sure you follow that with a facial moisturizer by then as well. It will take a couple weeks to see results but I swear it works.
skin allergies can be reduced by not eating the foods that can trigger allergy outbreaks. also keep away from dust and other factors that can contribute to your allergy. be able to know what can cause flare ups. also try using this link http://www.skinoriginal.com to be able to reduce bumpiness and itchiness
