well, since cosmetics contain man made substances i am sure it could cause a bit of havoc on the skin, in forms of rashes, pimples, even skin cancer.
many powders have talc, talc does contain carcenogens...would probably affect our lungs more than anything.How does use of cosmetic products affect our skin?
you can get all natural makeup but most makeup will not harm your skin because it has been tested. in fact, a lot of makeup protects your skin from the sun, aging, dryness, etc. the makeup i have has helped me prevent acne because it is formulated with salicylic acid. makeup is a good, safe thing!
